Matt Davis

Matt Davis currently is a Faculty Affiliate at Penn State's Center for Supply Chain Research and a board member for the Supply Chain Council.  He was previously a Research Director at Gartner where he was lead analyst for supply chain segmentation, cost to serve and supply chain strategy.  Matt has over 75 supply chain strategy publications with more than 15 first authorships on the topic of supply chain segmentation.  Prior to joining Gartner, Matt spent nine years in different rotations across Dell’s supply chain organization.  This experience included strategy roles in supply chain design, demand management, fulfillment and customer service.  Matt is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Lean Change Agent.  He has a B.S. in Business Logistics from Penn State and an MBA from the University of Texas.
